Civility Week at Brookdale Community College, September 29th and October 6th through the 10th, 2025 is a campus-wide initiative exploring the theme “Democracy Takes Courage: A Commitment, Not a Given.” Through interactive forums, workshops, and lectures, the series examines the roots of American democracy and the responsibilities of civic participation today. Civility Week honors the legacy of New Jersey’s revolutionary past while inspiring a new generation to expand democratic ideals.
