This unique spring event will honor both the 250th anniversary of the United States and the rich history of New Jersey’s wine industry. This event promises a memorable blend of history, culture, and exceptional wine.
Guests will be transported back in time with live Revolutionary War re-enactors and interpreters from Washington’s Crossing Historic Site and the Old Barracks in Trenton. Attendees will experience an authentic encampment on the War Memorial’s front lawn, complete with appearances by George Washington and his soldiers. The event will open with the stirring sounds of fife and drums, followed by opportunities for guests to interact with historical figures, take photos, and learn about the Revolutionary War while enjoying wine tastings throughout the venue.
In addition to celebrating American history, the event will highlight the evolution and achievements of the New Jersey wine industry. Participating wineries are encouraged to embrace the theme through creative displays, enhancing the immersive experience for attendees.
