Digital History Contest

Princeton Battlefield Society invites New Jersey high school students to move beyond memorizing historical facts but instead, think like historians by analyzing historical events and figures, interpreting them, and communicating ideas to a public audience.”

Using digital media, students are encouraged to explore how the American Revolution shaped New Jersey and how its stories continue to influence ideas about leadership, conflict, loyalty, and civic responsibility today. By participating, students will become active interpreters of history during a once-in-a-lifetime anniversary.
