Volunteer and historian Tom Dempsey brings to life the strategic hope and tactical dilemma of Washington’s July 1780 stay at Dey Mansion. With the expected arrival of the French Army, Washington is busy with plans for a siege of New York City. However, British plans will soon put this to rest as Washington, again, will be forced to react.
