Segregation Series with the Jersey Bee


The Jersey Bee presents this series of discussions with community leaders, history experts, and racial justice advocates who can share experience or knowledge about segregation, urban development, redlining, systematic discrimination, the fight for reparations, etc., and how these issues affect communities in New Jersey.

June 2: Montclair at 5:30 p.m. (Montclair Library)

June 11:  South Orange at 6 p.m. (Baird Community Center)

June 17: West Orange at 6 p.m. (Luna Stage)

June 30: Bloomfield at 6 p.m. (Westminster Arts Center at Bloomfield College)

The program will feature 3-4 panelists per event. Programming time is 1.5 hours per event with some time before or after for refreshments and mingling.
