As the “Crossroads of the American Revolution,” New Jersey embraces its historic and contemporary role as a place of convergence of diverse ideas, people, and perspectives. Working with a multitude of partners, we have been planning a variety of programs, reenactments, exhibitions, activities, and engagements that focus on our historic contributions to our nation’s history as well as charting a course for a “more perfect union.” With thoughtful regard to the challenges we have experienced and the sacrifices that have been made, we also wish to celebrate the great achievements that have distinguished our state and nation. Why Support RevNJ?

Supporting RevolutionNJ makes a lot of sense – and in some cases, cents and dollars. First and foremost, providing financial support to RevolutionNJ is making an investment in our state, its people, and its communities. Capitalizing on this auspicious once-in-a generation moment allows us to build our economy through heritage tourism as visitors travel to New Jersey to discover our great historical sites and participate in our programs.

Your support enables us to develop and introduce new educational resources to our grades K-12 school-age children to help them understand the past and shape the future.   • Gifts given in honor or memory of friends and family are meaningful ways to commemorate a special occasion or to honor friends and family. When you make a tribute gift in honor of a friend or loved one, we will send a letter to notify them of your thoughtful donation.

  • The IRA Charitable Rollover allows individuals aged 70½ and older to make direct transfers totaling up to $100,000 per year to 501(c)(3) charities, without having to count the transfers as income for federal income tax purposes.

  • Giving securities (appreciated stocks and bonds) is an easy way for you to support RevolutionNJ.

  • Many companies offer to match employees’ charitable donations. To find out whether your employer offers a matching gifts program, contact your company’s human resources department. Retirees, board members and spouses also may be eligible.
