April 11-12 at Fort Mott: Great War Weekend Fort Mott comes alive with World War 1 living history.  See encampments, special displays, and working vehicles.

April 12 and April 19 @ 2PM at the Hermitage: George Washington, NJ and the Revolutionary War. This lecture led by Joel Farkas will follow Washington’s military career, including the battles and encampments in New Jersey

April 18 at Washington Crossing State Park: Encampment at the Richard Holcombe House property including historical reenactors representing George Washington and Daniel Bray and tours of the historic barns, some of the oldest in Hunterdon County. Children's activities include military drills, butter making, and story time will occur throughout the day.

April 19 @ Noon at the Wallace House: Brewing the Revolution. Historical interpreter Michael Carver, The Regimental Brewmeister, portrays an 18th-century colonial brewer to examine the pivotal role taverns played in colonial America. Through first-person interpretation and storytelling, the Brewmeister reveals how taverns both maintained social order and fostered the exchange of ideas that helped drive the American Revolution.

April 25 @ 3: Somersteps: Finding Hope Farm Hike. Explore the historic bounds of "Hope Farm" from the Wallace House in Somerville to the Raritan River Greenway. Learn about the building of the Wallace House 250 years ago, the historic preservation of Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage underway today and the American Revolution on the Raritan River.
